The manager of Liverpool, Brendan Rodgers, has hailed Luis Suarez for his great performance in the match against Newcastle United. That match between Liverpool and Newcastle United had ended in a draw. Suarez scored a leveller in the 67th minute of the match and made sure that his team would get at least one point from the match. That was Suarez’s 10th goal in the ongoing season and 7th goal in the ongoing Premier League.

Talking to the reporters ahead of the Europa League clash against Anzhi Makhachkala, Rodgers said, “Suarez is just unbelievable. He has been in fantastic form since the start of the season. His goal against Newcastle was a great one. It needs a bit of skill to score a goal in a fashion like that.”

“Suarez is that sort of player who can frustrate the opposing defender. He is a strong boy and he uses his power to very good effect.”

“He is a young lad and he trains very hard. He is one of the fittest blokes around. Whenever, he goes on to the field, he tries to give his best. He is hungry for success and I am blessed to have such a player in the team.”

When asked about the below par performance of Liverpool in the ongoing season so far, Rodgers said, “We have played too many draws in this season. We could have converted quite a few of them into victories if we had kept our composure during the vital moments of those matches.”

When asked about the red card shown to Fabricio Coloccini, Rodgers said, “I don’t want to talk much about that, but, one thing is for sure that it wasn’t Suarez’s fault. He is a guy who plays the game with the right kind of attitude.”
